JOHN LEHNDORFF

A journalist, food researcher, and consultant in the dining industry, John Lehndorff is currently the Chief Industry Advisor to the American Forecaster and Eat In Eat Out.

From 2000 to 2009, John was the Dining Critic for the Rocky Mountain News (a daily newspaper that ceased publication in 2009). He also wrote columns and features for the Washington Post, USA Today, Town & Country, New York Times, San Jose Mercury News, St. Paul Pioneer Press, Miami Herald, Chicago Tribune, Edible Front Range Magazine, and many other publications.

John was an award-winning food editor at the Boulder Daily Camera, authored Denver Dines (a restaurant guide book, published by Johnson Books), and served as the executive director of the American Pie Council.

He is a member of the Culinary Council at the  Sterling Rice Group and a contributor to Food Network Magazine. Past food industry activities include judging numerous contests, hosting a radio show covering the food scene, and working with food organizations such as Taste of the Nation.
